San Ignacio-Puerto Ganadero Road, with a total length of 58.4km, is an integral part of the primary road network of Bolivia and is the first highway project undertaken by CWE in Bolivia.

Bridges

The Hualiaga Bridge was built in the 1990s, mainly involving demolition and building of 17 new single-span steel girder bridges with a concrete plate structure, etc. It is the first EPC won by a Chinese engineering contracting company in the South American market through international competitive bidding and is also the first World Bank project contracted by a Chinese company in South America.
