After completion, the Santa Elena Aqueduct Hydraulic Plan Project guarantees the water needs of over 450,000ha of local irrigation areas and benefits approximately 560,000 people. It was awarded the “Best Practice Award for Social Responsibility of Overseas Corporates in 2018” by China International Contractors Association.

The Canar and Naranjal Flood Control Project is the largest hydraulic project in Ecuador and the largest flood control project in the history of Latin America.
