Pakistani PM attends completion & ribbon-cutting ceremony of Kashmir's urban development projects

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif attended the completion and ribbon-cutting ceremony for an array of completed urban development projects in Muzaffarabad, capital of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, including the 132kV substation, fish & mutton market and peak park undertaken by CWE, on November 20, 2014.


At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the vice chairman of the Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority of Pakistan introduced the progress of the urban development projects to the media, and reported together with CWE representative current difficulties to Prime Minister Sharif. The Prime Minister extended heartfelt thanks to Chinese government and CWE for their efforts to reconstruct the earthquake-hit areas, pledged immediate arrangement to resolve problems arising in the project execution, such as shortage of supporting funds, and expressed his ardent expectations on an early project completion with excellent quality.
