A letter of thanks from Civil Engineering and Development Department of HK SAR

Update:2016-04-11

CWE received a letter of thanks for its Seawalls and navigation channels project from the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) of HK SAR on March 18, 2016, which fully affirmed CWE’s high degree of cooperation, profession and proper organization in the salvage of the wreckage of a small plane crashed into the sea on February 27. CEDD highly evaluated on CWE and its project management for the help in response to local emergencies and urgent works with orderly management and efficient implementation.

A small plane crashed into the sea at Tai Po Lo Fu Wat near Plover Cove Reservoir in Hong Kong on February 27. CWE’s project management responded positively to the CEDD’s calls for help by organizing about 20 employees to recover the wreckage. From its start at 9:00 to the successful wreckage lift at 13:35, the recovery attracted much attention from local sectors, with the director of CEDD being the recovery instructor. The Ming Pao Weekly and other local media reported the salvage.

In recent years, CWE Hong Kong, while operating its main business, pays much attention to social benefits, actively assumes corporate social responsibility, and effectively integrates into the local society through localization, forging soft power with social responsibility performance to establish CWE’s good reputation as a responsible company.
