The Dam Complex of Upper Atbara Project Management of CWE in the Sudan organized a donation activity for the school in the resettled village at 9a.m. local time on June 1, 2016, bringing gifts to the kids on Children’s Day.

Footballs, schoolbags, pens, notebooks, blackboards, other sporting articles and stationaries were presented to the school and good wishes from the company were expressed to all students thereof for a happy Children’s Day, encouraging the kids to study hard and become talents useful to the Sudan.

The representative of CWE delivered a speech to extend gratitude to the local government and villagers for their support and help over the past 6 years since the commencement of the project. He also expressed the company’s willingness to continue such a friendly relationship. In response, the headmaster of the school and the representative of the Employer extoled CTG and CWE as responsible enterprises, which promoted local education and growth of students, apart from their construction of the large-scale project to benefit future generations in the Sudan.

The donation activity was strongly supported by local government and attended by nearly 100 representatives from the government, the Employer, the school, and local media.
