Chen Mili Meets with Economic and Commercial Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia

 On April 23, Chen Mili, Deputy General Manager of CWE, met with Wu Zhiwei, the Economic and Commercial Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia. The meeting focused on exploring development opportunities in Indonesia’s water resources, electricity, and new clean energy sectors.
 
Chen Mili outlined CWE’s development history, core business areas, and its business operations in Indonesia. He emphasized that Indonesia had been a key location for the joint construction of the “21st Century Maritime Silk Road.” The water resources, hydropower, and energy sectors in Indonesia offer broad prospects. CWE highly values the Indonesian market and wishes to maintain close relations with the embassy, leveraging its experience in overseas engineering construction to contribute to Indonesia’s economic and sustainable social development and to promote high-quality development of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
Wu Zhiwei welcomed Chen Mili’s visit and noted the deepening partnership between Indonesia and China. He acknowledged CWE’s extensive international experience and distinctive capabilities in its core business areas. Wu expressed a desire for CWE to enhance market research and project evaluation, actively engage in Indonesia’s market development, and collaborate with local enterprises in investment cooperation, project construction, and resource sharing to achieve mutual benefits.
