On August 27, CWE’s Peruvian subsidiary received notification from the Las Bambas Mining Company of its successful bid for the “Las Bambas Copper Mine T6 Canal Construction Project” (hereinafter referred to as “the Project”).
Located in the Apurimac region of southern Peru within the Las Bambas copper mining area, the project primarily involves the construction of the mine’s T6 canal, including surface lining, the laying of geogrids and geomembranes, and the excavation, transport, and backfilling of loose materials and rock.
Mining is a pillar of Peru’s economic development, and this successful bid represents another achievement for CWE in deepening its involvement in Peru’s mining infrastructure sector based on local market characteristics. Going forward, CWE’s Peruvian subsidiary will coordinate the mine’s construction resources to ensure high-quality and high-standard project fulfillment, continuing to enhance the company’s reputation as a quality contractor and contributing further to local economic and social development.
