Wan Qizhou Meets with the Presidential Advisor on Investment and Public-Private Partnerships of the Republic of Congo

 On September 3, Wan Qizhou,the General Manager of CWE, met at the CCCC Building with Maxim Ganchion, the Presidential Advisor on Investment and Public-Private Partnerships from the Republic of Congo, who was in China to attend the Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. The meeting focused on enhancing pragmatic cooperation between both parties.
 
Wan expressed his gratitude for the guidance and attention provided by the Presidential Office of the Republic of Congo and shared an overview of CWE’s history and operational activities. He emphasized that the Republic of Congo had been an important market for CWE, noted for its rich mineral, forestry, and hydraulic resources. CWE aimed to participate in the construction of hydropower, new energy, and electric power infrastructure in the Republic of Congo, contributing its professional expertise to support local green development initiatives.
Maxim Ganchion commended CWE’s achievements in the Republic of Congo, highlighting the deep and robust friendship and cooperative foundation between China and the Republic of Congo. With the Congolese economy currently experiencing rapid growth and a strong demand for energy resources like electricity, he noted the significant potential for development in the transportation and energy sectors, as well as in infrastructure construction. Ganchion expressed a hope that CWE would leverage its resources, technology, and expertise to actively participate in the investment and construction of energy, power, and infrastructure projects in the Republic of Congo. He assured that the Congolese government would provide robust support to facilitate the company’s operations and development in the country, aiming for mutual benefits.
Following the discussions, Wan Qizhou accompanied Maxim Ganchion on a tour of the CCCC Exhibition Hall.
Personnel from the company’s Market Development Department and the Central Africa Regional Office also participated in the meeting.
