CWE-HXCC-YREC's 780MW PV Project Team in Algeria Supports Local Emergency Rescue and Road Restoration and Receives Letter of Thanks

Release time:2025-11-17

Recently, the town of Garta Sidi Saad in Laghouat Province, Algeria, was hit by torrential rainfall accompanied by an extraordinary rainstorm accompanied by strong winds and hail, which resulted in severe flooding in certain areas, destroying and blocking multiple roads and posing a serious threat to the safety of the residents. At this critical juncture, CWE-HXCC-YREC's 780MW PV project team in Algeria immediately initiated its emergency response plan and proactively engaged in rescue and relief work.

The project team actively cooperated with local rescue forces - the Gendarmerie of Garta Sidi Saad - in executing emergency rescue tasks, in which the team dispatched mechanical equipment and personnel to assist in clearing vehicles stranded by the disaster, ensuring the safe evacuation of personnel, and fully participating in the restoration of roads, and concentrated resources on clearing landslide blockage points along the main roads.

Despite adverse weather conditions, the project team continued fighting on the frontline, providing crucial support for the Gendarmerie's execution of rescue tasks and rapid restoration of road access. A few days ago, the Gendarmerie sent a special letter of thanks expressing sincere gratitude and respect to the project team, stating that the team's support "played an important role in facilitating the National Gendarmerie's successful completion of its mission and restoration of road traffic."
