Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Laos awarded the "Dam Safety Management Certificate of Honor" to the Nam Lik 1-2 Hydropower Station and the Nam Ngiep 2 Hydropower Station, which are invested in and operated by the Company in Laos, in recognition of the two stations' safety management achievements over more than 10 years of operation since commissioning.

Since commissioning, both Nam Lik 1-2 and Nam Ngniep 2 stations have strictly complied with Lao laws, regulations, and industry standards, fully implemented primary responsibilities for dam safety management, strengthened daily monitoring and risk control, and ensured safe and stable operation of the dams. Over the past decade, they have not only provided strong support for Laos' clean energy supply and comprehensive river basin management but have also continuously promoted local economic and social development. This commendation, granted by the Lao Ministry of Industry and Commerce based on long-term supervision and evaluation, fully affirms the achievements of the two hydropower stations in work safety, technical management, and local contribution, demonstrating the Lao government's high recognition of the company's contributions to China-Laos energy cooperation.
Moving forward, all of the company's power stations in Laos will continue to uphold the principle of "safety first, focusing on prevention, and integrated control," strictly implement all dam safety management systems, keep enhancing scientific management, and contribute to sustainable regional development.
