Known as the pearl of hydropower on the White Nile River, the project is one of the many achievements of the FOCAC and the Belt and Road Initiative. It’s also a key livelihood project in Uganda. In 2019, the Uganda Post Office issued a series of stamps with the image of the Isimba Hydropower Project.
