The Kirirom I Hydropower Station, with a total installed capacity of 12MW, is the first hydropower station project developed by a Chinese enterprise in Cambodia under the build–own–operate–transfer (BOOT) model, with 2 installed units. It is also the first hydropower station invested in and constructed since Cambodia entered its new era of peaceful development.
