The Construction Works for the Second Baricho - Kakuyuni Water Supply Project is a key livelihood project in Kenya’s coastal region, with the main engineering content consisting of newly-built 30km water supply pipelines and ancillary pools and expansion of an existing pump station. After completion, it will effectively alleviate the water supply shortages of Kenya’s coastal region. William Ruto, the President of Kenya, visited the Project on July 26, 2024 and attended the unveiling ceremony of the Project.
