Recently, at the “Hong Kong Volunteer Award 2025” ceremony organized by the Agency for Volunteer Service, the CWE Hong Kong Branch was honored with the “Corporate – Volunteer Hour Certificate of Appreciation (500–1,999 Hours)”. Mrs. Janet Lee Lam Lai-sim, Chief Leader and Honorary Patron of the Hong Kong Volunteer Award and spouse of Mr. John Lee Ka-chiu (Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR), attended the ceremony in person to present the award.

The “Hong Kong Volunteer Award” is one of the most prestigious honors in Hong Kong’s volunteer sector. It aims to recognize enterprises, organizations, and individuals that have demonstrated outstanding performance in volunteer service, promote the public welfare spirit of “Care for Hong Kong, Everyone Volunteers" and encourage all sectors of society to actively participate in volunteer services, thereby collectively fostering a caring and harmonious community. The award maintains rigorous selection criteria. It not only evaluates service hours and the scale of participation but also places great emphasis on the professionalism, innovation, and positive social impact of the volunteer services provided.

Since its establishment in May 2024, the volunteer team of the Hong Kong Branch has been actively fulfilling its social responsibilities, with volunteer activities spanning multiple fields such as environmental protection, elderly assistance, community care, and educational support, achieving remarkable results. Backed by a well-structured volunteer system and guided by the local brand building of “Blue for CWE, Red for Hong Kong”, the Hong Kong Branch has collaborated with social organizations such as the Community Chest, the Hong Kong Red Cross, and Foodlink Foundation to diligently fulfill its public welfare mission, extensively promote the spirit of volunteering, and effectively enhance the Company’s image in Hong Kong.

As an enterprise operating in Hong Kong for nearly 40 years, CWE has always shared the same breath and destiny with Hong Kong, striving to contribute to the long-term prosperity and stability of the Hong Kong SAR. The volunteer team of the Hong Kong Branch will continue to uphold the “people-oriented” core values, promote the dedication spirit embodied by the “blue vests” of CCCC, deepen the connotation of responsibility brand "Build Your Future Dreams" and persistently expand service areas while improving service quality, thereby writing a more splendid new chapter in CWE’s public welfare efforts in Hong Kong.
