Release time:2026-04-17

Recently, the Mékhé-N'Diagane Expressway Project in Senegal received a handwritten letter of thanks from the local village chief, Aliou. In the letter, he expressed sincere gratitude for the timely assistance provided by the Project Management Department during the village’s water outage.
Previously, a sudden large-scale water outage hit the villages surrounding the Project, affecting the basic daily lives of villagers. Upon identifying the affected areas, the Project Management Department immediately dispatched water tankers to the site and organized villagers to collect water, making every effort to meet their basic daily water needs and help them get through the water shortage crisis. In his letter, Aliou wrote that thanks to the Project’s support, the entire village received drinking water during what would have been an extremely difficult period of water shortage, which made a significant difference to the surrounding residents.
Since the commencement of the Project, the Project Management Department has proactively fulfilled its social responsibilities and launched a series of public welfare initiatives including free medical consultations, safety promotion campaigns, and school renovations, earning itself the reputation of a “good neighbor” in the surrounding communities. Marking the 70th anniversary of China-Africa diplomatic relations, the Project Management Department is committed to deepening communication and cooperation with local communities through more caring and practical public welfare initiatives to strengthen bonds of friendship and polish the CCCC’s global responsibility brand — “Build Your Future Dreams”.
