On April 27, Mr. Wan Qizhou, Chairman, and Mr. Chen Mili, General Manager of the Company, met with Mr. Santos, Chairman of Mota-Engil Portugal, and his delegation at CWE headquarters. The two sides held in-depth exchanges and discussions on cooperation in international engineering sectors, reinforced their consensus on bilateral collaboration, and jointly explored prospects for future development.

Wan Qizhou warmly welcomed Mr. Santos and his delegation, providing a detailed introduction to the company’s development history, core business segments, and achievements in international business. He noted that as CCCC’s integrated investment, construction and operation platform for water, power, and clean energy businesses at home and abroad, CWE has solid expertise and rich project experience in water and power sectors, supported by a complete service system. It has completed numerous landmark projects in Guinea, Sudan, Peru, Chile and other countries, gaining widespread local recognition. He expressed willingness to combine the company’s core strengths in water, power and clean energy with Mota-Engil’s extensive global network, strong local operational capabilities, and industrial influence. The two sides will complement each other’s advantages, share resources, forge a long-term win-win strategic partnership, carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation, and jointly set an excellent example for international engineering cooperation.

Mr. Santos extended sincere gratitude for the warm reception. He spoke highly of the bilateral cooperation outcomes in water, power and clean energy, and fully recognized the solid foundation laid for cooperation so far. He also expressed firm confidence and high expectations for future cooperation. He noted that Mota-Engil places great strategic importance on its partnership with CWE, and expressed hope that both sides will strengthen coordination, leverage their respective strengths in key sectors and countries, deepen pragmatic cooperation, and jointly explore international markets to achieve complementary advantages, mutual benefits, and a "1+1>2" synergy. During the meeting, the two sides also held in-depth discussions on the implementation of specific cooperation projects, exchanged views on future cooperation models and business expansion, and reached preliminary consensus.

This meeting with Mota-Engil marks a new chapter in CWE’s in-depth international cooperation with a European engineering giant. It lays a solid foundation for the Company to further explore high-end engineering markets across Europe and beyond, and injects new momentum into its high-quality development and global business expansion.
