CWE Participates in the 10th World Water Forum

 From May 18, the 10th World Water Forum was held in Bali, Indonesia, marking the first time this global water event was hosted in Southeast Asia. The forum, recognized as the largest and most influential international water event globally, brought together policymakers, scientists, and stakeholders from around the world. Wang Yongtian, Deputy General Manager of CWE, led the company’s delegation to the forum.
Themed “Water for Shared Prosperity,” the forum addressed topics such as water security and prosperity, human and natural water use, disaster reduction and management, governance cooperation and water diplomacy, sustainable water financing, and knowledge and innovation. It served as a vital platform for sharing advanced water management concepts, experiences, policies, and cutting-edge technologies.
Wang Yongtian delivered a keynote speech at the International Water Entrepreneurs Dialogue. He emphasized that water security is a critical issue faced by China and many countries worldwide. Focusing on the water sector, CWE is keen on innovating cooperation models and is eager to share successful experiences and proven technologies with global counterparts to enhance water security worldwide and accelerate the achievement of the “Water for Shared Prosperity” goals. During the forum, CWE’s delegation actively participated in three significant sessions: the 4th Water Security Seminar, the Worldwide Observatory for Non-Conventional Water Resources & Renewable Energy, and the Benefits from Transboundary Cooperation in the Nile Basin.
CWE showcased several of its key projects at the CCCC exhibition area, including the Kaleta Hydroelectric Project in Guinea, the Merowe Dam in Sudan, and the Kirirom I Hydropower Station in Cambodia. Additionally, CWE’s promotional film “I Love My Second Hometown-Laos” was featured, highlighting the company’s international cooperation achievements. This presence significantly enhanced the international visibility of the “CWE” brand and created opportunities to further explore international markets.
During the meeting, Wang Yongtian also held discussions with Hu Yuqiang, Chairman of China Water Resources Beifang Investigation, Design and Research Co., Ltd., and Dai Jiqun, a member of the Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute.
Relevant personnel from CWE’s Party Committee Work Department and Market Development Department participated in this event.
