Chen Mili delivers a speech at the Pre-Investment Seminar of the Third Nepal National Investment Summit

 On March 26, the pre-investment seminar for the Third Nepal National Investment Summit was held at the Nepalese Embassy in China. The event was graced by a video address from Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, along with the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Nepal, the Nepalese Ambassador to China, and the CEO of the Nepal Investment Board. Chen Mili, Deputy General Manager of CWE, was invited to attend and speak at the seminar.
In his video address, Prime Minister Dahal described Nepal as not only a good neighbor and friend of China but also a significant development partner. He highlighted the ongoing positive achievements of the China-Nepal Belt and Road cooperation, including the preliminary establishment of a Trans-Himalayan Multidimensional Connectivity Network. He welcomed Chinese companies to actively participate in various investment and construction projects in Nepal to advance the strategic partnership between the two countries toward development and prosperity.
In his speech, Chen Mili noted that 2024 marked the beginning of a new decade for the Belt and Road Initiative, coinciding with Nepal’s new phase of high-quality economic construction. CWE plans to further integrate high-quality resources and leverage the platform of CCCC to seize significant strategic cooperative opportunities with Nepal. Focusing on clean energy as an entry point, CWE aims to actively integrate into local development, create more exemplary cooperative projects, and contribute Chinese wisdom and solutions.
Leaders from relevant departments at CWE also attended the meeting.
