Over 6 Million Liters of Water Recovered Daily! Package 1 of Manila Municipal Pipeline Network Renovation Project in the Philippines Wins High Praise from Owner

Release time:2026-04-02

Recently, Package 1 of the Manila Municipal Pipeline Network Renovation Project in the Philippines received a letter of commendation from the owner, Maynilad Water Services, Inc. The letter highly recognized the Project Team for its outstanding performance in contract fulfillment.

Previously, the Project Management Department successfully completed the relocation and water commissioning of the DN2000 and DN1400 main pipelines along the key section of Quirino Avenue, while simultaneously decommissioning the existing aging pipelines. These efforts have successfully recovered 6 to 8 million liters of non-revenue water (NRW) per day for the local pipeline network, significantly reducing the water loss rate and creating substantial economic and social benefits for the owner and local residents. During construction, faced with complex site conditions and highly challenging technical tasks, including hydrostatic pressure tests and loop connections, the Project Team maintained strategic focus and demonstrated exceptional forward-looking management capabilities. The owner specifically remarked in the letter: “The Project Team overcame multiple constraints with decisive actions, accurate foresight, and efficient coordination. Their professionalism and outstanding leadership served as the core guarantee for the successful completion of this milestone.”
This high recognition from the owner not only affirms the Project Team’s spirit of overcoming difficulties, but also strongly demonstrates the Company’s technical strength in the overseas municipal water utilities sector, further enhancing the brand influence of CWE. Moving forward, upholding the spirit of craftsmanship and continuous improvement, the Project Team will make every effort to advance the subsequent construction works, forge a safer and more efficient water supply lifeline for the residents of Manila, and contribute to the high-quality development of China-Philippines cooperation on people’s livelihoods.
