The 4th Asia International Water Week (AIWW) kick-off meeting was held from April 20 to 21 in Quezon City, the Philippines. Themed “Sustainable Water Solutions for a Resilient Asia,” the event was co-hosted by the Asia Water Council and the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System of Manila, among others. The Philippine Branch of China International Water & Electric Corporation (CWE) was invited to the meeting to discuss water governance cooperation and explore new pathways for regional water security and high-quality development.

The Asia International Water Week (AIWW), launched by the Asia Water Council in 2017, is held every three years to promote sustainable water resource use and ensure water security in Asia. This session brought together representatives from international organizations including the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank, as well as industry experts, business delegates from 27 countries, and the Philippine government representatives.
At the meeting, the Philippine Branch showcased its "Total Water" integrated solutions through display boards, technical presentations, and on-site discussions, systematically presenting its capabilities in water resource development, water transmission and distribution systems, as well as water treatment and energy use. This fully demonstrated the Company’s integrated advantage across the entire "source-transmission-use" chain, garnering widespread attention and high praise from attendees.

Going forward, the Philippine Branch will continue to leverage its professional strengths to support local water resource development, water use, and water security, contributing to a more resilient and sustainable Asia.
